Damaris JohnsonAll-purpose | Tulsa
After Tulsa routed Hawaii 62-35 in the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl on New Year's Eve, the Golden Hurricane faced an eight-hour plane ride home.
Johnson, a junior from Norco, La., needed the rest.
Johnson did just about everything against the Warriors: He ran five times for 98 yards with two touchdowns; caught four passes for 101 yards with one touchdown; returned five kickoffs for 109 yards; and returned one punt for 18 yards.
Johnson finished with a career-high 326 all-purpose yards and broke the FBS career record with 7,796 all-purpose yards in the process.
