47. Troy Edwards

Wide receiver | Louisiana Tech

Edwards wrote his name throughout the NCAA record book. He still holds the FBS single-game record for receiving yards with 405 against Nebraska in 1998. Also that season he caught an FBS record 27 touchdown passes and had 1,996 receiving yards, earning him the Biletnikoff Award, given to the top receiver in the nation.

The Steelers drafted him 13th overall in 1999. His rookie season would end up being his best, as Edwards started six games and caught 61 passes for 714 yards and five touchdowns. But his production diminished and he could never reach the levels he did in college.
