Horns Of Texas

You don't step on the field at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium wearing the burnt orange without taking care of a little business first. Do it however you must, but every player and coach touches a mounted set of Horns below a sign that reads, "Don't Mess With Texas."

A couple steps later, the roar of the crowd grows, and it's game time. Thousands of players have run their hands across the horns in a variety of ways hundreds of thousands of times. The horns are worn with that kind of traffic, and it's easy to remember the stars like Colt McCoy and Vince Young who helped age them, running their hands across them before plenty of historic wins.
