In the second quarter of the 1935 Rose Bowl, Alabama receiver Don Hutson's 46-yard touchdown catch of a Dixie Howell pass against Stanford proved Hutson an All-American. In the fourth quarter, Hutson's 59-yard catch closed out a 29-13 victory and made him a legend. Hutson went on to the college and pro football halls of fame.
