Vote! Who has the best uniforms in the SEC?

Some of the SEC's uniforms are as classic as they come. Alabama and Auburn never change. Texas A&M embraces new looks along with its throwbacks. But who has the league's best uniforms?

Now

LSU's Leonard Fournette and Jamal Adams have been talking about winning a championship since playing together at the Under Armour All-America Game in 2014. Entering their junior -- and probably final, since both players are projected first-round picks if they enter the 2017 NFL draft -- college season, they lead what should be the best Tigers team since 2011. Fournette, by the way, says his sprained ankle has fully recovered and he's good to go for Saturday's game against Wisconsin after taking it easy in his return to practice last week.

Texas did not release a depth chart and did not name a starting quarterback today. Charlie Strong says he's trying to give Notre Dame as little info as possible. We'll see if that extra secrecy pays off on Sunday night.

Urban Meyer has known about Tim Tebow's plans to give baseball a shot for a while, and not surprisingly, he continues to believe his former QB at Florida can accomplish what he sets his mind to doing. "Incredible, incredible baseball player," Meyer said reflecting on watching him in high school. " ... I'm very biased and everybody knows that, but don't count him out."

Christian McCaffrey on Stanford's defense: "I think they're going to shock the world... I think they're going to open a lot of eyes."

Stanford RB Christian McCaffrey will take over short yardage duties for the graduated Remound Wright this year, and he's excited to score more touchdowns.

Hugh Freeze loves the fact that his Ole Miss team will be in the national spotlight when they play Florida State next Monday. But Freeze said "top-to-bottom, the [Seminoles] are one of the better teams we've played in my tenure here." That's quite a compliment.

David Lombardi ESPN Staff Writer

"Christian McCaffrey has been locked in since about 10 minutes after the Rose Bowl," David Shaw said.

Will Kickoff Week live up to the hype?

This season's first week has been hyped since last season ended, but will the play on the field live up to its billing? Numbers don't lie (Insider)

Good and bad Stanford injury updates: TE Dalton Schultz will play against Kansas State, but David Shaw said that RB Bryce Love, who has a lower body injury, is doubtful.

Stanford named Bobby Okereke as a first-time starter at inside linebacker. "He's had the best camp of all our inside linebackers, and that's saying something," David Shaw said. The Cardinal plan to rotate 4-5 players through two inside linebacker spots.

Jim Harbaugh says Michigan knows it's starting quarterback, but won't share that with the public before Saturday.

Saban not willing to commit to one QB yet

Nick Saban discusses how he has narrowed down the starting QB battle to Cooper Bateman and Blake Barnett.

Alabama CB Marlon Humphrey knows they'll have to account for WR Juju Smith-Schuster, saying he gets 70 percent of the targets. Humphrey was very complimentary, calling him one of the best at adjusting on the ball.

Ben Boulware is expecting to see multiple QBs when his Clemson defense takes on Auburn on Kickoff Weekend. "We'll be prepared for anything," Boulware said. "I don't really care who they play."

Greg Ostendorf ESPN Staff Writer

Ole Miss QB Chad Kelly came dressed to impress for today's press conference. "It's finally game week. It's going to be a great game, great atmosphere, and it's time to start the season off on a good note."

Jared Shanker ESPN Staff Writer

Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher isn't sure whether a tough opener helps or hurts in the playoff era but he thinks about it a lot. He said scheduling is about money and exposure some, but it should primarily about "what [schedule] gets me to the playoff and national championship game."

Jared Shanker ESPN Staff Writer

There isn't much clarity in the secondary in Florida State's depth chart for Ole Miss. The Seminoles have a lot of blue-chip defensive backs, but they're looking to find the right combination. The biggest battle is at cornerback between sophomores Marcus Lewis and Tarvarus McFadden.

Austin Ward ESPN Staff Writer

Preseason All-American center Pat Elflein estimates he's at "85 or 90 percent" strength as he recovers from offseason shoulder surgery, but it won't keep the Ohio State captain off the field Saturday against Bowling Green. "I'm strong enough to go out there and do what I need to do," Elflein said.

Alex Scarborough ESPN Staff Writer

Saban says quarterbacks Cooper Bateman and Blake Barnett will have a chance to play against USC.

Alex Scarborough ESPN Staff Writer

Saban on USC: Very, very good offensive team. Juju Smith-Schuster is as good of a wide receiver as we are going to play all year.
