Moore is sixth D-I player to accomplish feat

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- New Mexico halfback DonTrell Moore became the sixth player in NCAA Division I history to run for more than 1,000 yards in four consecutive seasons.

Moore broke free Friday night for a 37-yard run with 5:15 left in the first quarter in the Lobos' game against Colorado State. Moore went into the game needing 32 yards to surpass the 1,000-yard mark. He ran for 65 yards in the first quarter against the Rams.

Tony Dorsett, Amos Lawrence, Ron Dayne, Denvis Manns and Cedric Benson also accomplished the feat.
