Cal fullback Storer breaks arm in practice

BERKELEY, Calif. -- Fullback Byron Storer is expected to
miss No. 20 California's appearance in the Pacific Life Holiday Bowl after
breaking his arm during practice last weekend, coach Jeff Tedford
said Monday.

Storer was the lead blocker for Pac-10 rushing leader Marshawn
Lynch and a special-teams standout during the longtime backup's
senior season for the Golden Bears (9-3), who finished second in
the conference standings.

"One of the guys that makes this team tick is him," Tedford
said. "His passion for the game and his passion for Cal football
is one of the best that we have. He's really dedicated."

Cal faces No. 21 Texas A&M in the Holiday Bowl on Dec. 28.
