As College GameDay profiles Lamar Jackson, here's what Cordell Hudson said this week about the grief he's gotten from Syracuse teammates after being on the other end of the Week 2 Lamar Leap: "Nah, I mean, obviously when it happened I was a little embarrassed, but he's a great player and I watched the play over and over again. If I would've left my feet I would've been a little down on myself, but … (laughs) ... yeah."

LSU RB Leonard Fournette is "very doubtful" for tonight's game with Missouri, a source told ESPN. Fournette injured his ankle in the fourth quarter of last week's loss at Auburn. Fournette had originally injured the ankle in August, which required a walking boot.

Coming up on Gameday and SC, we visit w Texas HC Charlie Strong about his young QB and his struggling defense.

J.T. Barrett has quite a stretching routine that includes a big stick that makes the Ohio State QB look like he's doing some kind of gymnastics. After a week off, his Heisman Trophy campaign resumes today against Rutgers.

Georgia is not expected to have star running back Nick Chubb (ankle) for today's game against Tennessee, but the Vols will also be without one of their stars on defense. Weak side linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin (shoulder) is also not expected to play. The Vols were already without two other starters on defense -- cornerback Cam Sutton and middle linebacker Darrin Kirkland Jr.

Henrik Stenson looking especially Iceman-ish with that three-day facial hair growth. Pretty sure Matt Fitzpatrick hasn't shaved, either.

Syracuse QB Eric Dungey will start today vs. Notre Dame, a source told ESPN. Dungey's status was unknown after he was not made available for interviews on Tuesday. He was receiving treatment for the flu, a source said. Syracuse coach Dino Babers would not discuss Dungey's status earlier this week.

Urban Meyer has arrived at the Horseshoe and continued his game-day tradition at Ohio State, throwing up an "O-H" for early-arriving fans and greeting each of his players on the way to the locker room.

Austin Ward ESPN Staff Writer

For a game with such a large spread, there's plenty of intrigue around Ohio State-Rutgers. Chris Ash is making his return to the Horseshoe as the coach of the Scarlet Knights, the Buckeyes are opening Big Ten play and trying to stay hungry after a strong start and J.T. Barrett will be looking to build on his Heisman Trophy candidacy.

Austin Ward ESPN Staff Writer

Mornings don't get much finer than this one on a gorgeous day at the Horseshoe. Tailgates are in full swing, and Ohio State is a couple hours away from opening Big Ten play against Rutgers in ideal Big Ten weather.

Eager to hear Tom Rinaldi's interview w/ Les Miles. (But I REALLY wanna hear about the long chat they had after the cameras were off)

Two days ago, range closed for opening ceremonies. Matt Fitzpatrick needed work on driver. Hit from makeshift tee on 2 down the 9th fairway.
