Oregon State left tackle Sean Harlow will likely medically redshirt this season, he told reporters today. He's the Beavers' most-experienced offensive lineman (28 starts) and is long time friends with Oregon State QB Darell Garretson. Harlow broke his ankle with five games to go last season and said he wasn't 100 percent yet.

Oregon offensive line coach Steve Greatwood said today that he's crossing his fingers that LT Tyrell Crosby, who was spotted wearing a walking boot last week, will be good to go against UC Davis. If Crosby can't go it'll be redshirt freshman Brady Aiello, which would mean there could be four redshirt freshmen starting on the offensive line on day 1 for the Ducks.

Oregon QB Dakota Prukop has a fantastic game the last time he played UC Davis (361 passing yards, four passing TDs, 148 rushing yards, two rushing TDs -- as the Montana State QB, 2014 game) but he's not overlooking the Aggies. "They're looking to come and make an upset -- I've been at the FCS level, I know what that feels like. This team is not going to lay down."

He'll miss the opener at home Saturday against Rutgers and also home games against Idaho and Portland State. The 6-5, 231-pound junior matched the team high with three touchdown receptions last season and was fourth on the team with 26 catches. He appeared in all 13 games in 2015 and started six.

LSU's Leonard Fournette and Jamal Adams have been talking about winning a championship since playing together at the Under Armour All-America Game in 2014. Entering their junior -- and probably final, since both players are projected first-round picks if they enter the 2017 NFL draft -- college season, they lead what should be the best Tigers team since 2011. Fournette, by the way, says his sprained ankle has fully recovered and he's good to go for Saturday's game against Wisconsin after taking it easy in his return to practice last week.
