Justin Fuente on VT's young WRs: "It's been a slow process. We're still trying to gain some consistency. Eric [Kumah] has been more consistent for us. Sean [Savoy] is still just a true freshman and has some of those true freshman moments out there. Sean's done a good job at times. Eric has made huge strides to become a very reliable player out there. Phil Patterson is a guy that last week contributed, had a good week of practice. I'm encouraged by his development."

He was playing great and doing everything he could."

Urban Meyer said today in his press conference that the rivalry game against Michigan is not a "one week deal." Rather that he and his coaches have been preparing for this game all year. "We're not just starting our film study for the week," Meyer said. "That's been going on for a long time." When asked a similar question, Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh stated that he and his staff have done much of the same because of the magnitude that this rivalry brings.
