The Pullman Police Dept. confirmed that Washington State safety Shalom Luani was arrested early Wednesday morning and booked on second-degree felony assault chargers for allegedly breaking the nose of a 20-year-old man during an altercation at a Dominos Pizza. Luani was all-conference honorable mention in 2015 and finished third on the team with 90 tackles. The arrest comes on the heels of an investigation involving multiple WSU football players for another alleged assault at a house party. Cmdr. Chris Tennant of the Pullman Police Dept. said he hopes that investigation will be wrapped up this week.
