Michigan is basically out-Wisconsining Wisconsin right now. The Wolverines' offensive line is getting a nice push up front despite losing starting LT Grant Newsome to injury. And Michigan's defense is putting the Badgers in a phone booth -- Wisconsin has just 29 rushing yards. Winning the battles up front helped Wisconsin beat LSU and Michigan State, but Michigan is proving to be another story thus far.

Armstrong sneaks it in for Huskers

Nebraska QB Tommy Armstrong Jr. sneaks into the end zone for a 1-yard TD. The No. 15 Cornhuskers lead Illinois 10-7 on ESPN2.

Josh Pitre is a big LSU fan and a big Ed Orgeron fan. "He's one of us. It would be great if he could finish this thing off and be our coach," said Pitre, who went to the same high school as Orgeron, South Lafourche.

Tennessee RB Jalen Hurd literally just got caught looking. Was wide open for a touchdown, slowed up after catching it and got blindsided by Georgia's Deandre Baker at about the 2. Hurd fumbled into the end zone and Georgia recovered. Really bad look for Hurd on that one

Lots of booing in Beaver Stadium after Penn State sent its FG unit on the field on 4th-and-G from the 1. Tyler Davis did make the kick to tie the game at 3, but the booing continued afterward. James Franklin has been pretty conservative in similar situations the last two weeks, and that hasn't gone over well with fans. (Franklin opted for a FG last week against U-M while trailing 28-0.)

Wolverines go with a unique formation

Michigan starts a 2nd and 2 play from the 6-yard line with 10 players lined up one-by-one before breaking into normal formation prior to the snap.

Top receiver Jordan Westerkamp walked slowly off the field for Nebraska after he was tackled on the sideline at the end of a 21-yard reception. Illinois and the Huskers are tied at 7 as injuries mount in the second quarter for Tommy Armstrong's receiving threats.

Tar Heels up two scores on Seminoles

UNC RB T.J. Logan runs straight through the FSU defense for a 13-yard TD. The Tar Heels lead the No. 12 Noles 14-0 on ESPN.

TCU called for fans to Blackout The Carter today. The all-black unis are definitely sharp.

ESPN Stats and Information

Maybe Tennessee has Georgia just where the Vols want them. Tennessee is 3-0 this season when trailing by 10 or more, the most double-digit comebacks in the country.

Michigan gets on the board first

No. 4 Michigan and No. 8 Wisconsin traded punts throughout the first quarter, but the Wolverines punched it in early in the second quarter to take a 7-0 lead on ABC.

Wake Forest gets on the board in Raleigh, but the Deacs' D has had trouble stopping Ryan Finley, which a lot of teams have struggled with so far. Finley entered the day completing an FBS-best 76.3 percent of his passes, and he's connected on 10 of his first 13 throws against Wake, for 150 yards and a TD.

Boston College has one of the easiest nonconference schedules in the country, and has gone 3-0 against the weaker competition after posting a 35-3 win over Buffalo. In its only two games against Power 5 opponents to date, BC has lost. The schedule gets harder again next week against Clemson.

TCU's new black helmet. It's quite shiny.
