Miami's last two games have come down to the wire in the fourth quarter. In those two, the Hurricanes had to come back to win. But against Syracuse, they have to prove they can hold on to a lead, up 20-19 against a surging Orange squad.

Despite being outplayed for large portions of the game, Syracuse now has a chance to take its first lead midway through the fourth quarter. The Hurricanes just failed on a fourth-down attempt to give the Orange this huge opportunity.

Fresh backs vs. a tired defense. Tennessee D has been on the field 29 of 47 minutes. Tide backups Tua Tagovailoa and Najee Harris just ripped runs of 18, 13 & 23 yards, the last a TD by Tagovailoa.

Despite all the turnovers and mistakes, Syracuse is only down one score to Miami headed into the fourth quarter. The Orange have gotten a big boost from their run game, including crucial runs from Eric Dungey in the third quarter.

Tennessee scored its 1st TD in 4 weeks, a 97-yard pick six by Daniel Bituli. But that sent overworked Vol defense right back out. Alabama has run 70 plays, Vols 30 (for 74 yards). Tide leads 31-7.

How deep into in Lincoln Riley's head has Bill Snyder climbed? After a Jordan Thomas pick set up Oklahoma with a first and goal, backup QB Kyler Murray entered. The Sooners then went to fullback Dimitri Flowers as a Wildcat QB and had to take a timeout to avoid disaster. Baker Mayfield returned, and Flowers was stuffed for a loss by Kansas State before OU settled for a field goal. It trails 21-10.

Miami is one of the best rushing teams in the ACC but it's been a real struggle to get anything going against Syracuse. The Orange have done a great job bottling up running lanes, holding running back Travis Homer to just 2.8 yards per carry.

Freshman QB Tua Tagovailoa comes on for Jalen Hurts and promptly throws a pick-six inside the red zone. It was Tennessee's first TD in 12 quarters of play.

Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy after the win over Texas, the Cowboys' fifth straight in Austin: "I was really disappointed they didn't want me to dance. I was trying to get a little bit of national publicity, hit SportsCenter and stuff and they didn't ask for that. Now they've got so used to winning, they don't ask me to dance, so that's a downer for me."

Nothing going for Oklahoma as Dimitri Flowers comes up short on fourth and 1 from the K-State 19. After going for broke and failing, the Sooners are toying with a big deficit as the minutes tick away in the first half.

It's a family even at Alabama. According to the school, Calvin Ridley has his 200th career reception. He and Amari Cooper are the only 2 players in Alabama history with 200 or more career receptions

Impressive performance by Miami's defense so far against a Syracuse offense that had Clemson on its heels. The Canes allowed just three points, 137 yards and seven pass completions (on 22 attempts) in the first half.

Through one quarter in Manhattan, 338 yards of offense, including 202 from Kansas State. Oklahoma has not stopped the Wildcats on three possessions, save for a turnover generated. The Sooners have no answer yet for Alex Delton, who's 5 for 6 throwing and has run for 48 yards and a TD.
