Baylor started the year 6-0 and was ranked No. 17 in the initial College Football Playoff rankings. The Bears went 0-6 the rest of the way. They still intend to accept a bowl bid Sunday despite that brutal finish.

Deshaun Watson jogged on the field, offered a thumbs up to Herbie and then was mobbed by the phones and cameras wanting a glimpse of his first tosses. He never broke his focus. He's zoned in tonight.

Bizarre ending to Baylor-West Virginia. The Bears were driving to tie or win the game, but QB Zach Smith was stripped and OL Ishmael Wilson tossed the ball forward, which WVU recovered. Officials determine Wilson never had possession of the ball and give it to WVU for the 24-21 win.

Baker Mayfield posted a 95.7 Total QBR against Oklahoma State, his FBS-leading ninth game this season with a QBR above 90. Mayfield enters bowls with the top QBR in the nation, and notably his return means the top 4 in Total QBR are likely coming back to school next season.

Saunders' corner made the corner of Mike Tyson in the Buster Douglas fight sound like they were worthy of trainer of year honors.

By scoring 33 points in the first half against Florida, Alabama became the first team to score 30 or more against the Gators in a half since 2000, when Mississippi State racked up 31 in the second half of a 47-35 victory. Tonight's game is the seventh time in the history of Florida football that the Gators have allowed 30 points in a half.

'Bama defense stops Florida on 4th down

Alabama's defense makes a goal-line stand as Florida's Austin Appleby can't connect with DeAndre Goolsby in the corner of the end zone. The Crimson Tide are rolling, 40-16, in the SEC Championship game.

The Clemson columns are ready for the team to be introduced and run onto the field. Ever wonder where the power source is for the fireworks that shoot out the top? These black tanks.

No. 16 West Virginia was suddenly in some trouble for a moment. Baylor got a 43-yard TD from Ishmael Zamora to make it 24-21 and recovered the onside kick with 2:39 to go. But officials flagged an illegal block and West Virginia recovers the re-kick. Strange sequence.

It's not a large Hokie contingent inside Camping World Stadium, but Virginia Tech could hear the support coming out of the locker room. Keep an eye on No. 3 Greg Stroman, one of conference's best cornerbacks. He's battled injuries late in the year but he's dressed.

ESPN Stats and Information

Alabama has scored two more non-offensive touchdowns in tonight's game against Florida, giving the Crimson Tide 14 for the season. That matches Southern Miss in 2011 for the most in a season in the FBS since 1996.

Who's next? Virginia Tech. But what's next? That's a berth in the College Football Playoff if No. 3 Clemson, a double-digit favorite, wins the ACC tonight.

The health of Saquon Barkley's ankle is a story to watch for Penn State. Coach James Franklin said Friday that Barkley looked great in practice, and the star running back seemed to be moving well in early warmups. Wisconsin ranks third in the FBS in rushing defense.

What it looks like trying to field punts under the lights in Lucas Oil. Badgers spent a lot of time on this yesterday. @BigTenChampionship

Isaiah Ford is the only 1,000-yard receiver in Virginia Tech history, and he'll have back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons with 51 yards tonight. The Hokies might need more than 51 from him to pull off the upset, however, as they'll have to make a few a big plays in the passing game. That's not easy against Clemson's Cordrea Tankersley.
