Six of the top 10 performances in average rushing yards allowed over that span are by Alabama teams, four of which won national championships.

Pretty much a dream start to the Big Ten title game for Wisconsin. Badgers forced a quick three and out from Penn State, then scored a touchdown on a 14-play drive that featured 12 runs. Wisconsin's edge in the trenches showing up early, aided by its use of multiple tight end sets throughout its first drive.
