Arizona coach Rich Rodriguez isn't saying who will start at quarterback against Stanford on Saturday, but he's happy that he finally has some options, as both two-year starter Anu Solomon and his backup Brandon Dawkins should be available to play.
Solomon started the opener against BYU, but then suffered a knee injury in practice. Dawkins started the next five games before suffering a concussion against Utah on Oct. 8, forcing true freshman Khalil Tate into action against USC. The Wildcats were off last weekend.
Rodriguez intimated that both Solomon and Dawkins are likely to play.
"They've been able to practice fully this week," Rodriguez said.
Arizona also has been hit hard by injuries at running back, as starter Nick Wilson apparently will be out for some time due to a knee injury. Receiver Samajie Grant has moved to running back and is listed as a co-starter with Zach Green.
