Wisconsin officials confirmed an ESPN report that linebacker Vince Biegel will miss several weeks after having foot surgery Thursday night. "I really hate any time a player has to miss time due to an injury, especially a senior like Vince," Badgers coach Paul Chryst said in a release. "Vince has such a passion for football and loves playing the game. ... What you appreciate is that you know he will do everything in his power to get back on the field as soon as possible." Biegel, who has started 32 games, is considered one of the top outside linebackers in the Big Ten.

Any Clemson fans out there looking for a vintage tailgating vehicle? You won't find one better than this. One of the other RV owners tells me it used to belong to a Clemson player.

ESPN Stats and Information

Christian McCaffrey has 37 rushes facing eight or more players in the box this season, tied for the second-most among Power 5 players behind Nick Chubb of Georgia. McCaffrey is averaging 5.3 yards per rush on those runs, 1.3 yards more than the Power 5 average. Washington has committed eight or more defenders in the box on four rushes this season, tied for the third-fewest in the Power 5.

Add one more injury for Ohio State coming out of its bye week to the list: Backup offensive lineman Demetrius Knox is out for eight weeks after having surgery for a broken foot on Friday morning. Knox hasn't been a major factor yet for the Buckeyes, but this could be another test of the depth of the roster at a position that doesn't boast much experience.

As Stanford deals with injuries in its secondary, a key number for the Cardinal defense tonight is 4. Washington QB Jake Browning is 10-1 when sacked three or fewer times and 1-4 when sacked 4 or more times. The lone win came last week at Arizona, which sacked Browning four times. Stanford recorded 7 sacks in its opener against Kansas State.

One of the nation's top 2018 prospects is scheduled to take an unofficial visit to TCU Saturday for the Horned Frogs' game against Oklahoma. Terrace Marshall of Bossier City (Louisiana) Parkway will be in Fort Worth for the game, and the 6-foot-3, 189-pound 2018 prospect ranks as the third-best junior receiver. He's also the top underclass prospect in Louisiana and the No. 28 player in the country, so his visit is a key one for TCU. Marshall has a long list of national offers, including Alabama, LSU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU and others.

TCU is scheduled to host an Oklahoma commitment on an official visit this weekend when the Horned Frogs play host to the Sooners. ESPN 300 receiver Jalen Reagor of Waxahachie (Texas) High School said late this week he is still scheduled to visit Fort Worth, despite being a longtime commitment to the Sooners. Reagor, the 74th player in the ESPN 300 and 10th-ranked receiver, took a trip to OU two weeks ago when the Sooners were blown out by Ohio State and at the time he said he was "100 percent solid," but many recruiters believe the Horned Frogs have a legitimate shot at eventually flipping his commitment. Reagor also said he is likely will take other official visits, too.

With Oklahoma in town, it's a prime opportunity for the Horned Frogs to impress recruits and one of TCU's most important targets is scheduled for an official visit this weekend. Coveted junior-college offensive tackle Jordan Agasiva of Pima (Arizona) Community College is slated to visit, and the 6-foot-5, 300-pounder lists Auburn, TCU, Oregon State and Utah as his top teams. He visited The Plains last weekend and gave the Tigers high marks, but he insists he'll take all of his visits before making a decision. Agasiva is on pace to graduate from Pima in December and enroll at a four-year school in January. He will have two years of eligibility remaining.

With Iowa State playing host to Big 12 favorites Baylor this weekend, the Cyclones are scheduled to bring in at least a pair of official visitors. The biggest name on the list is No. 37 athlete Michael Onyemaobi of Temecula (California) Chaparral High School. Onyemaobi has been a longtime commitment to Cal, but he seems interested in what Iowa State has to offer. Iowa State also plans to host sleeper defensive lineman Abe Noland out of Watkinsville (Georgia) Oconee County.

Buddy Ponder has been driving Clemson's team bus for the past eight years. Bus 1 takes coach Dabo Swinney and the defensive players to the stadium. The offensive players ride in another bus. "These are the working men," Buddy says with a smile. "I tell them, 'You take care of the pretty boys in the other bus.'"

The key number in the Wisconsin-Michigan game is 31, as in minutes of possession. Under Paul Chryst, the Badgers are 12-0 when they have the ball for at least 31 minutes and 2-3 when they don't. Michigan is 11-0 under Jim Harbaugh with at least 31 minutes of possession and 3-3 with less than 31 minutes of possession.

Texas Tech coach Kliff Kingsbury gave an initial update on QB Patrick Mahomes' right shoulder/arm injury to the school's radio broadcast right after the win over Kansas: "We'll see. Sounds like he should be OK, but we've got to go get him checked out."
