Bret Bielema looks loose pregame here at Auburn. Including today, 23 of his 46 games at Arkansas have been against ranked teams. "To hear that number is ‘woe is me,'" Bielema said earlier this week. "But when you are involved in it, you rarely think about it."

ESPN Stats and Information

This is the fifth consecutive game Stanford has failed to score a touchdown in the first half. The Cardinal have been outscored 64-9 in the first half of their last five games (34-6 advantage in their first two games).

Purdue trailed No. 8 Nebraska by a touchdown only 16 seconds into the game after a disastrous start that included an interception on a halfback pass. But the Boilermakers have put together a stunning turnaround to take a 14-10 halftime lead in Lincoln under interim coach Gerad Parker. QB David Blough has thrown for 231 yards and two touchdowns. Meanwhile, Nebraska has been held to 168 yards of total offense. Nebraska has a big game next week against Wisconsin but can't look ahead just yet.

Tremendous concentration showed by Josh Reynolds to haul in that back shoulder TD pass. We've got a game in Tuscaloosa. Texas A&M cuts the Alabama lead to 13-7 with less than a minute before halftime.

West Virginia CB Elijah Battle got ejected for targeting against TCU, but he did find a great spot to watch the rest of the game: the Mountaineers' weight room. Props to our ABC TV crew for spotting him.

Kyle Bonagura ESPN Staff Writer

UCLA coach Jim Mora hinted at there being some changes to the offense this week, but those changes turned out to be a massive overhaul. The Bruins look like Noel Mazzone is back running the offense -- shotgun, up-tempo, four wide receivers – and, so far, it's working. The Bruins moved the ball with ease on three straight touchdown drives. Utah clearly wasn't ready for this, so it will be interesting to see what type of adjustments it can make to account for the change in scheme.

Big loss for the Aggies defense as S Donovan Wilson is ejected for targeting on hit on Damien Harries near the sideline. Very next play Marlon Humphrey makes a great leaping interception on Trevor Knight

Alex Scarborough ESPN Staff Writer

Just when it looked like Texas A&M could make a move, targeting followed by an interception. Alabama back in control with 5 minutes left before halftime.

North Carolina WR Bug Howard had four catches for 73 yards and a touchdown in first half. Could boost stock down stretch with Hollins out
