Michigan is hosting its annual BBQ at the Big House recruiting event this weekend, and a lot of top prospects are expected to be in attendance. ESPN 300 prospects Bryan Addison, Rafiti Ghirmai and Michael Thompson are all planning on making the trip. A few top 2019 recruits will also be in attendance, including quarterback J.T. Daniels and running back Quavaris Crouch, defensive lineman Stephen Herron and receiver David Bell. The Wolverines could add to their commitment list after this weekend as visiting linebacker target Cam McGrone tweeted he will be making his commitment on Monday following the visit to Ann Arbor.

Virginia Tech and BYU will play a home-and-home series in 2026 and 2030. The Hokies also announced multiple future games with in-state opponents Liberty, Old Dominion and VMI. Most interesting note in the release, though, is this: Earlier this summer, the ACC decided its schools could only play one FCS opponent per season on specifically designated weekends through 2029. Virginia Tech is scheduled to face four FCS opponents – William & Mary (2018), Furman (2019), Richmond (2021) and VMI (2026) over the next 12 seasons.
