LSU scrimmaged at Tiger Stadium on Tuesday evening, looking ahead toward its Sept. 3 opener against Wisconsin. Tigers coach Les Miles said QB Brandon Harris went 10-for-15 for 133 yards and two TDs. The Tigers ran for 288 yards in the scrimmage and passed for 220. Miles said safety Jamal Adams intercepted a pass and dropped another INT and that cornerback Donte Jackson returned an interception for a touchdown. Star running back Leonard Fournette did not participate in the scrimmage after injuring his ankle last week. However, Miles said Fournette has resumed running and predicted that "the next time we take the field, my guess is he'll be practicing."

Don't expect a QB announcement from Mark Helfrich before the Ducks' final fall scrimmage on Thursday. He said following the scrimmage he'll sit down with all the coaches as they develop their depth chart for the UC-Davis game week. All signs point to grad transfer Dakota Prukop being named the starter, but will be interesting to see where Justin Herbert falls in the pecking order. Several have been very impressed with the 6-foot-6 true freshman.

Voltz was coming back from a torn ACL and was expected to start at left guard. He had 27 starts in his career and was considered one of the top linemen in the Big Ten. It's a huge blow to Wisconsin's young line less than two weeks before the opener against LSU. The Badgers' projected line starters now have a combined 34 starts.
