There are "no weaknesses" in Deshaun Watson's game, Virginia Tech coach Justin Fuente said. Fuente's read up on Watson, too, and can tell he's driven based on his academic aspirations.

No one has stopped Clemson's offense this season, Virginia Tech coach Justin Fuente said. The hope is the Hokies can cash in on turnovers and keep the ball away from Clemson with their own offense. The Tigers are 107th in turnovers.

Texas A&M's top-10 recruiting class just got a whole lot better. Anthony Hines III, the No. 65 player in the ESPN 300 and the nation's top-ranked inside linebacker, committed to the Aggies Friday afternoon. Hines selected A&M over Florida, Ohio State, TCU, Penn State and UCLA. The Aggies had long been considered the favorite to land Hines, but anytime you're recruiting against national powers like Ohio State, Penn State and Florida, it's never a sure thing. The pledge is a big boost of momentum for Kevin Sumlin, as other recruits will be excited by Hines' decision

The ACC honors Virginia Tech's Justin Fuente as its coach of the year. The Hokies had not won nine games or the Coastal Division since 2011. Now they're a win over No. 3 Clemson away from the Capital One Orange Bowl.

Great news for Matt Campbell and Iowa State as 1,000-yard receiver Allen Lazard will return for his senior season. Lazard, who has a reception in a team-record 35 consecutive games, likely will break Todd Blythe's records for receptions and receiving yards in 2017.

Iowa State WR Allen Lazard will bypass the draft and return for his senior season. The 6-foot-5 wideout caught 69 passes for 1,018 yards and 7 TDs this season.

Indiana athletic director Fred Glass and new head coach Tom Allen met with the media for about an hour, but many questions remain about the specifics of why Kevin Wilson was fired. Glass, who was a successful lawyer before becoming AD, continually referred to "philosophical differences" without going into many details.

Mark Schlabach ESPN Senior Writer

Indiana athletics director Fred Glass said he had concerns about football coach Kevin Wilson's leadership style before giving him a new six-year contract in January. But Glass said the issues re-emerged in early November and he hired an outside law firm to conduct an internal investigation. Glass said there was no "smoking gun" in reaching the decision to ask Wilson to resign on Thursday. Glass said Wilson will be paid $542,000, equal to one year's base salary. He was owed more than $12 million for the final five years of his contract.

Indiana athletics director Fred Glass hired current defensive coordinator Tom Allen as head coach on Thursday, replacing Kevin Wilson, who resigned earlier in the day. Glass called Allen a "leader of men" with high standard, but said he isn't "demeaning." Glass said Allen cares about his players and they care back.

Though he gave Kevin Wilson a six-year contract extension in January, Indiana athletic director Fred Glass said he had some concerns over Wilson's leadership style. He said he thought those concerns had been addressed but recently found that "differences in leadership approach were maybe back."

I spoke with Tom Allen before the Michigan game about how much he loved being back in Indiana and what it meant to his family. These obviously aren't ideal circumstances to take over, but he always seemed like a strong candidate to succeed Kevin Wilson. Some also thought he would have returned to Ole Miss as defensive coordinator this offseason.
