Virginia Tech coach Justin Fuente has the perfect person on staff to give a history lesson about the VT-West Virginia rivalry before their season opener. So he asked defensive coordinator Bud Foster to deliver the message. The two teams last played in 2005, and Foster coached in the last 19 games in the series. "I've always had the utmost respect for West Virginia and that goes back to playing coach (Don) Nehlen," Foster told ESPN.com. "It was always a tough, hard fought football game, a lot of close battles and a lot of great players, too. We have to make sure our kids understand what that is all about."
