Notre Dame survives Navy by slowing down Navy's rush game. The Midshipmen entered the day averaging a nation-leading 369.78 rushing yards per game and was also getting 5.86 yards per carry. Today, Navy hit 277 yards, but only had one rush TD and averaged just 3.8 YPC.

Iowa has picked up offensively where it left off last week at Wisconsin. The Hawkeyes are averaging less than 3 yards per carry and trail Purdue 21-9 late in the third quarter on Senior Day in Iowa City. The Hawkeyes apparently cashed all their chips in that Week 10 win over Ohio State.
