ESPN 300 offensive lineman C.J. Thorpe confirmed that he is planning to visit Michigan on January 27. Thorpe has been committed to Penn State since April and has maintained that he is solid in his commitment. The Wolverines have been a school he has shown interest in, and will now use an official visit to see the program. While Thorpe's father, Chris, played at Penn State giving his son a tie to the school, the elder Thorpe also played with current Michigan defensive backs coach, Michael Zordich. Thorpe is the No. 132 ranked prospect overall and one of six ESPN 300 commitments for Penn State.
