FAU coach Lane Kiffin said he was happy to have big-name coaches like Michigan's Jim Harbaugh and Willie Taggart of Oregon attend his football camp. Harbaugh caused a fuss last summer when his staff went on a barnstorming camp tour across the country.

The Saints finally take a pass rusher at No. 103 to end a furious third round – Florida Atlantic DE Trey Hendrickson. The 6-4, 266-pounder was named the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year in 2016. He had 23 sacks over the past two years and a total of 29.5 in his career. ESPN draft analyst Todd McShay listed Hendrickson on his "all-tape" team, saying he shows a "mean streak on the field." Obviously it's hard to project him in a major role right away, but there is an opportunity there at a glaring position of need.

Wonder where Lane Kiffin gets his quick wit? His dad, Monte Kiffin, greeted me as I walked out to the FAU practice field Thursday and cracked, "It's good to see that somebody from Tennessee still talks to Lane. Sometimes, I don't blame them. We never should have left there."
