Briscoe, Stewart lead SHSU to 66-17 drubbing of Nicholls

Jeremiah Briscoe threw for 305 yards and three touchdowns with Nathan Stewart catching seven for 147 yards and two scores as Sam Houston State opened Southland Conference play with a dominating 66-17 win over Nicholls on Saturday night.


Briscoe helps Sam Houston State beat Richmond 48-43

Jeremiah Briscoe threw for 411 yards and four touchdowns and had a 41-yard scoring run to help Sam Houston State beat Richmond 48-43 on Friday night in a game postponed and moved to Baylor University because of Hurricane Harvey.

Sam Houston St.'s Briscoe named FCS' top player

Sam Houston State junior quarterback Jeremiah Briscoe has been named the top offensive player in the Football Championship Subdivision after throwing for 4,602 yards and an NCAA-leading 57 touchd
