Ray-Ray McCloud was thrilled to get a text from former Utah player Kaelin Clay offering support after the Clemson sophomore dropped the ball prior to crossing the goal line for a punt return TD last week vs Troy. Clay, who had a similar incident in 2014 in a loss to Oregon, told McCloud to stay confident, that his career wouldn't be defined by one play. McCloud said he now plans to reach out to SC State return man Ahmaad Harris, who fielded a kickoff then tossed the ball to the ref before downing it, resulting in a fumble recovery for a Clemson TD.
