Matthew Jordan seemed to be the favorite to start at QB for Georgia Tech, but a foot injury will cost him the final six practices of spring. It'd be a tough blow if it sets him back at all for the fall, as the Yellow Jackets had a lot of momentum to end 2016 and are an ACC sleeper this season.

Georgia Tech's Johnson rips ACC scheduling

Soon after the 2017 schedule was released, Georgia Tech's Paul Johnson lashed out at the ACC because three teams have a bye before facing his team, more than any other team in the league.

Jared Shanker ESPN Staff Writer

Want an ACC sleeper for 2017? Look at Georgia Tech, which won six of seven at the end of last season. It's schedule is favorable, too. It gets Tennessee in Atlanta, and games against the perceived top three in the Coastal -- Pitt, at Miami and VT -- all come in different months. It hosts Georgia, too.
