The Knicks aren't playing on Thanksgiving but NYK fans who are looking for highlights can find some games on MSG Network. The network is going all-in on Kristaps Porzingis on Thursday with what they are calling, "THANKZINGIS." From 11:30am until 11:30pm on Thanksgiving, MSG Network will have six of Porzingis' top games this year. The third-year forward is fourth in the league in scoring (27.6 PPG) and first in blocks (2.27) entering Wednesday's game against Toronto.

Jets RB Matt Forte, battling a chronic knee condition, wasn't spotted at the start of practice. This is an ominous sign, considering the Jets are coming off their bye week. Forte has had plenty of rest (20 days to be exact) and he apparently still isn't ready.

On Sunday, Jets DE Kony Ealy faces the team that drafted him and traded him — the Panthers — and he admitted "revenge" is on his mind. "I've got a lot of friends I played with and a lot of coaches," he said. "It's going to mean more to me playing in that game and just being fired up about going out there and just really doing what I need to do for my team. But also, getting a little revenge, I guess you could say." At least he's honest. (Source: NFL Network's "Good Morning Football.")

Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr, who is close with Phil Jackson, was asked about Jackson's tenure in New York. "I felt bad for the way things ended," Kerr said at Warriors practice at St. John's University today. "I think Phil did some good things here. Drafting Porzingis and hiring Jeff Hornacek. I think Ntilikina looks like a good player. It feels like they're on a good path right now. It's a hard league, man. Things really have to fall (in your favor), you have to do a good job. But you also have to get some luck. Phil knows that better than anybody. You can be really lucky and inherit Michael Jordan and you can also be unlucky and things don't go your way. It's all part of it. We're all going to have our moments in this league - ups and downs. Phil had so much success as a coach. I don't know, maybe he was due for the down part of it."

On their Thanksgiving-week day off, several Jets players were involved in the community on Tuesday. Josh McCown and Demario Davis served as opposing coaches in a flag football game for military service members at the Ft. Hamilton Army Base in Brooklyn. In Harlem, Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Quincy Enunwa and ex-Jet Erik Coleman served a Thanksgiving dinner to 400+ at the Food Bank's Community Kitchen and Food Pantry of West Harlem.
