Damyean Dotson had 23 points, 6 rebounds and three assists in the G League on Sunday for Westchester. He's back with the Knicks' big club on Monday for its game against the Clippers. It's a transition Dotson has made a few times this season, and it's one he takes seriously and uses to his advantage. If he's on the bench during a Knicks game, Dotson says he's focused on studying how Tim Hardaway Jr. and Courtney Lee perform in the Knicks' offensive and defensive schemes. He then applies that to his games in Westchester, which he says has helped his development significantly. Dotson's professional approach to his D League appearances is one of the reasons why Knicks coaches and management are excited about the second-round pick. Also, no matter if he's with the Knicks' NBA team or the G League club, Dotson has the same pre-game routine: praying for the health of all players involved, and praying for a victory.

Grading the quarterback play for the Jets

At 38 years old, Josh McCown is having a career year, and is the main reason why the Jets have four wins. With a 69 percent completion rate, McCown might have played his way into the team's 2018 plans.

Stick to your day job

The Chiefs' Daniel Sorensen intercepted Giants RB Shane Vereen and New York's Landon Collins picked off a pass from Kansas City TE Travis Kelce during Sunday's game. It was only the second game in the Super Bowl era in which each team threw an interception by a non-quarterback. The other game was a 30–19 Broncos win over the Chargers on Nov. 11, 1973. San Diego WR Ron Holliday threw an interception and so did Denver K Jim Turner. (Elias Sports Bureau)

Nets' bold strategy didn't pay off

Most teams don't make a habit of leaving Steph Curry open, but he got loose for 11 uncontested shots Sunday in Brooklyn. Curry drilled 10 of those attempts, including three from beyond the arc, to account for 23 of his game-high 39 points.

Eli Manning gave a "fiery speech" to the Giants prior to Sunday's game. Orleans Darkwa said when Eli talks it holds weight. If the two Super Bowl rings don't say enough, nothing will.

Orleans Darkwa was banged up late in Sunday's game. He called it a few minor things, plans to be "ready to go" Thursday night vs. the Redskins.

Finding the best spot for Giancarlo Stanton

Wouldn't it be fun to see if Stanton and Aaron Judge can hit 100 home runs combined in a year by themselves? However, the Yankees might not want to rush into another extremely expensive long-term contract.
