The Central division teams should be feasting on the Atlantic this year. The Bucks are dangerously close to the Finals, the Raptors and Hornets are nipping at their heels and the rapid improvment of the Hawks means that four out of the top five teams in the East will likely come from the Central.
Name a team more improved than the Atlanta Hawks. In the course of a few months they've added three All-Stars and were able to keep their top young players as well.
If there is one team that rivals them for that distinction it's the Raptors. As opposed to the Hawks, it was what Toronto was able to keep (Vince Carter, Antonio Davis, Jerome Williams and Alvin Williams) that should ensure that the Raptors remain a Central power for the next five years.
