Boston U 63, New Hampshire 56

BOSTON (AP) _ Billy Collins scored 14 points as Boston
University beat New Hampshire 63-56 on Sunday.
The Wildcats (10-14, 7-6 America East) jumped out to a 14-0 lead
but the Terriers (15-9, 9-3) took control with an 18-3 run to start
the second half.
BU's Paul Seymour tied the game at 39-39 with a 3-pointer at the
14:14 mark of the second half. He buried another 3-pointer on BU's
next possession to put the Terriers ahead to stay, 42-39.
The teams traded baskets, but Rashad Bell hit an off-balance
layup off an errant alley-oop pass from Seymour, and Collins dunked
a missed 3-point shot by Seymour to push the lead to 48-41.
Stijn Dhondt's 3-pointer as the shot clock expired with 10:31
left gave the Terriers a 10-point lead, 51-41.
UNH got as close as 57-53 on a Jeff Senulis free throw with 1:39
remaining, but Bell blocked a Chris Brown shot with 45 seconds left
that could have made it a two-point game.
Austin Ganly led the Wildcats with 14 points, but was held
scoreless in the second half. Brown scored 12 points and pulled
down 20 rebounds for UNH.
Bell added 12 points for BU, which moved to within a game of
first-place Vermont with four games to play.
