Moravian women set NCAA record

BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- The Moravian College women's basketball
team set an NCAA record by converting all 35 of its free throws in
a 61-53 victory over Susquehanna on Sunday.

Freshman guard Katie Rizman made 11 free throws, while Tracie
Shipman and Kelly Applegate made five each.

Moravian broke the NCAA women's record of 31-of-31, set by
Kansas in 1996.

The NCAA men's record is 34-of-34, accomplished by UC-Irvine in
1981 and Samford in 1990.
