The way things worked out, you could say the Jets traded up for the No. 1 pick in the draft even though they picked at No. 3. Play along with me here. They moved up three spots last month to pick a quarterback, and it's believed their No. 1 quarterback was Sam Darnold. They got their No. 1 guy and it cost them three second-round picks, which doesn't seem all that unreasonable considering the way it played out.
