Kind of a playoff-like feel in the arena in OKC tonight. They've got shirts on the seats, lots of media in the building. Got it all, except for the whole two good teams part.

FPI: Near coin flip at the Meadowlands

ESPN's FPI gives the Seahawks a very slight advantage in Sunday's game, the third-tightest matchup of Week 7. The Giants have lost three straight to the Hawks, including two in a row at home.

Kristaps Porzingis lists his individual goals in an interview with Players Tribune: "As far as individual goals…I want to make the All Star Game, I want to be Defensive Player of the Year and I also feel like I could be the Most Improved Player of the Year.... If I do those three things then that's going to help the team win a lot." Porzingis added that team success trumps individual goals. The full interview call be found on the Players Tribune website.

FPI: Fins have major edge over Jets

Gang Green won the teams' first meeting this season, but ESPN's FPI likes Miami's chances of taking the rematch on Sunday. Only two matchups in Week 7 are more lopsided, by FPI's measure.

It sounds as if coach Ben McAdoo really handed over the play-calling and entrusted Mike Sullivan. Sullivan said there were a "few times" where McAdoo provided in-game feedback or suggestion but overall he was very supportive.

McCown at his best on the 'money down'

Josh McCown is near league average in most metrics this season, but his play on third down has been tremendous. That's not an anomaly, either. Over the past three seasons, McCown ranks second in the NFL in completion percentage and first in yards per attempt on third down (min. 35 attempts).

Eli Apple had a defensive game ball sitting on the stool in front of his locker. Well deserved. I charted 11 targets that produced five catches for 38 yards in Denver.

Jeff Hornacek was asked about Carmelo Anthony saying Wednesday that he felt 'stabbed in the back' by management last year. He said repeatedly that he didn't want to talk about last season and is just looking ahead at this point.

Ian Begley ESPN Staff Writer

Jeff Hornacek has been impressed by Kristaps Porzingis' shot selection in preseason games & scrimmages: "I think the confidence that he got over the summer in Eurobasket, it was great for him being the main guy. He's willing to take the big shots. And I think the big thing is, he's not forcing anything. In these games and practices, he's not going off and going, 'Just give me the ball and let me do something.' He's playing within what we're doing. When the shot's there, he's taking it. He's trying to make extra plays. And being part of the main guy is not just shooting the basketball. It's making a play, whether it's for yourself or for one of your teammates. So he's doing a great job of that."

Nets can't afford life without Lin

In 46 games without Jeremy Lin last season, the Nets went 7-39, compared to 13-23 with him. The only player on the Nets' current roster that averaged more points per game than Lin's 14.5 last season was D'Angelo Russell, who averaged 15.6 with the Lakers.

Jets WR Robby Anderson (ankle) also practiced fully today. He, too, will play on Sunday.

Jets RB Bilal Powell practiced fully today and will play Sunday, per Todd Bowles.

Jets OC John Morton offered no apologies for last week's pass-happy play calling. He said his goal every week is to be balanced, but his philosophy is "whatever it takes to win." Morton called passes on 54 of 75 plays. He said he's not concerned about Josh McCown's health. He said McCown is in the best shape of his career.

Ian Begley ESPN Staff Writer

Jeff Hornacek on if Kristaps Porzingis is ready to be the face of the Knicks: "Well, he has to grow into that position. You just don't flip a switch and then all of a sudden, you're that guy. There will be some ups and downs, there will be games where he looks like that guy and then another game, maybe not. But like you said, he's only 22 years old so you can't put all this type of pressure on this kid to be that guy right now. We want him to grow to that, we want our other guys to be a part of it. They've got to rely on each other as a team on both sides of the ball and just play and let things happen that way."
