Saturday is the one-year anniversary of Austin Seferian-Jenkins' DUI arrest while playing for Tampa Bay. The Jets' tight end, coming off a two-game suspension stemming from the arrest, says he has gone 242 days without alcohol. He hopes his story can serve as an example to others.

After cutting return specialist Kalif Raymond, the Jets will have a new punt returner and kickoff returner Sunday against the Dolphins. Jeremy Kerley and Elijah McGuire are working in both roles in practice. Coach Todd Bowles said he won't make a decision until game day.

With another homer on Wednesday, Giancarlo Stanton came away with two long balls in the three-game series with the Mets, bringing his career tally against them to 35. Only one player has hit more homers against a single opponent since Stanton entered the league in 2010. Meanwhile, Stanton has been nearly as effective against the Nationals.

Judge joins rare rookie company

Judge hits 45th HR; Gregorius passes Jeter

Aaron Judge hit his AL-leading 45th home run and topped 100 RBIs. Didi Gregorius surpassed Derek Jeter for the most home runs by a Yankees shortstop, and New York beat the Minnesota Twins 11-3 Wednesday for a three-game sweep.

Jets coach Todd Bowles said TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins has "got to get in a little better shape. That's to be expected with two weeks off, but he'll get going." Bowles said it's too early to say for sure that Seferian-Jenkins will be active on Sunday against the Dolphins. It would be a surprise if he's not. The Jets have four other tight ends on the roster, but three are dealing with injuries. Seferian-Jenkins is eligible to return from a two-game suspension.

Three offensive starters missed practice for the Jets -- RG Brian Winters (abdomen), WR Robby Anderson (knee) and TE Eric Tomlinson (elbow). They're banged up at tight end, but Austin Seferian-Jenkins is eligible to play this week after a two-game suspension. Winters bears watching because the right guard draws Ndamukong Suh. DE Mo Wilkerson said he's not concerned about his shoulder.

Jets DE Muhammad Wilkerson said his injured shoulder is "no concern at all."

After walking Giancarlo Stanton four times on Tuesday, the Mets pitched to him today and the big guy swatted his 56th home run. With 10 games remaining, can Stanton get to 60? Based on his season rate of home runs, he'd hit 3.75 in the Marlins' remaining 10 games. Meanwhile, Aaron Judge slammed his 45th home run as he closes in on Mark McGwire's rookie record of 49 set in 1987. That's eight HR, 19 RBI and 20 runs in September for Judge as he re-ignites his MVP case.

Jordan Raanan ESPN Staff Writer

Odell Beckham (ankle), Evan Engram (concussion) and LB Keenan Robinson (concussion) listed as limited practice. Engram entered into protocol as "precaution."

Did not practice for the Jets: DE Mo Wilkerson (shoulder), WR Robby Anderson (knee) and RG Brian Winters (abdomen).
