Saints WRs coach John Morton talked with the Jets about their offensive coordinator job and remains a candidate, per source. ESPN Jets reporter Rich Cimini first reported that Morton was expected to be a candidate for the job. Morton returned to the Saints two years ago after originally joining Sean Payton's staff as an offensive assistant in 2006. In between, he served as a WR coach and offensive coordinator at USC and a WR coach on Jim Harbaugh's staff with the 49ers.

Confidence-boosting win for Knicks to finally come through in a tight game. After their previous 3 losses came by a total of 6 points, Knicks hold on in Indiana with a 109-103 win. Carmelo Anthony helped the Knicks close the game out, scoring 5 of his 26 points in the last 1:07. Knicks improve to 12-14 in games that are within 5 points in the last 5 minutes.

The Knicks went from trailing by as many as 14 points in the first half to leading by 17 points in the second half to having to hold the Pacers off in the final minutes before pulling out the 109-103 victory. The win is just the fourth in the past 17 games for the Knicks. Carmelo Anthony led the Pacers with 26 points and point guard Derrick Rose added 20 points and six assists. Forwards Paul George and Myles Turner tried to carry the Pacers. The duo combined for 53 points and 17 rebounds.
