A look at MetLife Stadium during the opening drive of the game. Lots of good seats available.

Can see two fans to my left, first row in second level wearing Giants jerseys and brown bags over their heads. This is the reality of 1-8.

Kevin Durant (ankle sprain) will be ruled as day-to-day, I'm told. Warriors' next game is Wednesday at OKC.

Kristaps Porzingis is shooting 34% over his last 3 games. Jeff Hornacek isn't too concerned about it. "Didn't Aaron Judge kind of just go through this? So relax, people," he said with a smile. "He be alright just like Aaron Judge."

Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant has a left ankle sprain and will not play tonight against the Brooklyn Nets.

FPI: K.C. with big edge at Meadowlands

The Chiefs have never beaten the Giants on the road (0-6), but FPI gives them nearly a 2-1 edge on Sunday. The Giants' odds to win are their lowest at home since Week 15 of 2015.

The look of a man about to make his 209th consecutive start. Eli Manning passes brother Peyton on Sunday vs. Chiefs. Amazing model of durability.

Sterling Shepard also just arrived. He's listed as questionable with an illness.

Eli Apple is here after missing two days while attending to a personal matter. The Giants need their secondary to play better. They've allowed 82 points in the past two games.

Brisk fall day. Weather.com says 17 mph winds. Nothing too outrageous right now that should greatly affect the game.

Undrafted rookie Chad Wheeler will make his first career start at right tackle in place of Justin Pugh, per sources. His reward? A matchup with KC's Justin Houston.

Takeaway on Sam Darnold vs Josh Rosen: As a pure passer, Rosen is ahead of Darnold. Rosen made some crazy throws that had scouts buzzing. Darnold can do things that Rosen can't — ie making plays with his feet. Both made critical errors in scoring territory but their NFL traits were obvious. It'll be fascinating if both players declare for the draft.

Thoughts on the first half: UCLA's Josh Rosen outplayed USC's Sam Darnold. At halftime, NFL scouts were buzzing about Rosen's arm talent. He made several NFL-type throws. Darnold impressed with his ability to move in the pocket and extend plays, but he threw an interception (overthrow) and showed a lack of game awareness on a half-ending scramble.

A bird's eye takeaway on Jets GM Mike Maccagnan: He's thorough and takes a lot of notes. I️ watched him on the field during the pre-game warmups at USC-UCLA. He watched both teams closely from the sideline, scribbling a lot into a notebook — more than the other NFL talent evaluators on the scene.

Rich Cimini ESPN Staff Writer

The Jets might have more reps at USC-UCLA than any other team: GM Mike Maccagnan, VP of personnel Brian Heimerdinger and a scout. The focus, of course, is the two quarterbacks — Sam Darnold and Josh Rosen.
