Jarrett Jack has been one of more than 15 Knicks working out and scrimmaging at the team's training facility in Tarrytown. Carmelo Anthony has been training at his gym in the Sky Building in Manhattan but hasn't been working out at the facility, which is somewhat noteworthy but not all that surprising since the Knicks and Anthony aren't on great terms (the club wants to trade Anthony; Anthony wants to be traded). Other Knicks players have been to Carmelo's gym for pickup and members of the organization, including Steve Mills and Jeff Hornacek, have attended workouts.

Veteran point guard Jarrett Jack says he's 100 percent healthy after he was limited to two games last season due to a right knee injury. He's been working out at the Knicks training facility with rookie point guard Frank Ntilikina and others. "Really long arms, really active defensively," Jack said of Ntilikina, who has a 7-0 wingspan. "Great size. Just looking forward to giving him all the game that I've gotten over these 13 years… He has a great pace to him. He's crafty, definitely going to cause a lot of problems on the defensive end which in turn can hopefully lead to some easy buckets on offense."

Power Rankings: Giants slip further

Two weeks ago, Big Blue sat just outside the top 10. After an 0-2 start, the Giants nearly landed in the 20s and now rank last among NFC East teams.

The Giants will make changes like last week, although McAdoo conceded they could be a bit more drastic. Play-calling could fit into this category.

Ben McAdoo asked whether Ereck Flowers was the left tackle: "Absolutely." Flowers struggled and allowed three sacks Monday night.

The Jets have waived PR Kalif Raymond, who had a costly muff on Sunday. Strong statement by Todd Bowles.

The Jets have re-signed DL Claude Pelon to the practice squad. He was cut last week after playing in Week 1.

With Fisher gone, Preds make Josi captain

General manager David Poile and coach Peter Laviolette noticed how the Predators picked defenseman Roman Josi to drive a sword into the field before the NFL's Tennessee Titans' home opener with the NHL team serving an honorary role pregame.

Rich Cimini ESPN Staff Writer

Against the Raiders, the Jets had no sacks, no quarterback hits and only three QB pressures, per ESPN Stats & Info. They blitzed on only eight of Derek Carr's 28 dropbacks. Why didn't they blitz more often? Why couldn't they generate any pressure? The reason is because Carr got rid of the ball in 1.94 seconds on average, the quickest time in the league in Week 2.
