Mindaugas Kuzminskas on what he gained from playing for Lithuania this summer in the European Championships: "I think this summer gave me a lot of self confidence because I was playing against players from the league (and) I think I did pretty well, we did pretty well so that gave me extra self confidence to go through the season," he said last week. Kuzminskas, who averaged 15 points and four rebounds in the Euros (re FIBA.com), isn't worried about possibly starting the season out of the regular rotation. He was inactive for the Knicks opener. "I think the season is long and we'll have a lot of things (that happen) during the season. What I learned from the first season is that you've got to be patient and just do your job. Your playing five minutes, your playing 7, your playing 30, you can always bring some benefits." Kuzminskas wasn't always a part of the rotation last year but produced well in stretches when he played.
