The Giants have 71 players signed and are $9,389,876 under the salary cap, per NFLPA records. For what? Hmm. There is a defensive tackle on the market they wouldn't mind re-signing.

You've got to feel for Taylor Hall

Taylor Hall spent the first seven seasons of his career with the sad-sack Edmonton Oilers. Now with the New Jersey Devils, he's on course to miss the playoffs yet again. That's some tough luck.

The Knicks lost for the 7th time in 8 games, but this may have been the first game they have actually tanked in the traditional sense. No Carmelo, Derrick Rose or Lance Thomas tonight. New York is tied with Sacramento for the 6th worst record in the NBA.

This is a good opportunity for Mindaugas Kuzminskas to show what he can do in extended minutes. Tough start for both Kuzminskas and Billy Hernangomez on defense thus far; Knicks trail the Blazers, 10-4, and Portland has gotten easy looks after defensive miscues from both rookies.
