Demario Davis went from one rebuilding situation (Cleveland) to another (Jets). He understands the comparison, but he said it's not quite the same because the Jets have more veterans than the '16 Browns. Davis is excited about the potential on defense, saying it will be "fast and explosive."

Re: Giants conditioning tests: Coach Ben McAdoo said they're position specific. Players told me they're little more than a warmup. For instance, WRs just run some routes. So it's far from strenuous.

Yankees walk off on Gardner's homer (0:45)

ESPN Stats and Information

The Yankees have now won 5 games this season in which they trailed after 8 innings, tied for most in the AL (Rays). The Rays have lost 32 games this season in which they led, most in the AL.

The Yankees beat the Rays in 11 innings, thanks to Brett Gardner. Gardner scored the game-tying run in the 9th after leading off with a triple. He won the game in the 11th on a solo homer. Aroldis Chapman picked up the win after throwing two perfect innings, while striking out four.

The ghosts of Yankee Stadium just got the Rays. Tampa's Alex Colome was about to pitch out of a ninth inning jam for the save when shortstop Adeiny Hechavarria and second baseman Tim Beckham, shifting, got confused on who should take a grounder. Instead of the final out, the ball bounced into the outfield for an RBI single to tie the game at five and send it to extra innings. Brett Gardner scored the run after a leadoff triple. He had been left at third by Clint Frazier (groundout) and Aaron Judge (flyout) before Sanchez "came through."

Yankees manager Joe Girardi was thrown out in the seventh for arguing balls and strikes. He did a poor man's Billy Martin impersonation, drawing a little line in the dirt near the plate. It was his third ejection of the year.
