Less than three hours before Carmelo Anthony's return to Madison Square Garden, some New York basketball fans and random passerbys greet an arriving Thunder bus.

My prediction for tomorrow: The Jets have a new quarterback (Bryce Petty) and an old problem -- they stink on the road. Away from home, they're 1-5 and average only 14.5 points per game, 11 points fewer than their home average. The Jets could play a decent game and still get blown out by the Saints, who have too many offensive weapons for them to handle. Their only hope is to dominate on the ground; the Saints' run defense has experienced some hiccups in recent weeks. This will be the Jets' seventh loss in nine games. Saints 34, Jets 17

The Yankees have re-signed CC Sabathia to a one-year, $10M deal, sources confirmed. The Yankees now have five starters with Luis Severino, Masahiro Tanaka, Sonny Gray and Jordan Montgomery filling out the rest of the rotation. Sabathia's resigning will not preclude the Yankees from trading or signing another starter. Sabathia is now in place after Yankees GM Brian Cashman and Sabathia's Roc Nation agent, Kyle Thousands, agreed on the deal today. It is pending a physical.

The Toronto Raptors defeated the Brooklyn Nets 120-87. DeMar DeRozan had 31 points on 14/19 FGs, 1/2 3s, and 2/4 FTs with 2 steals. Brooklyn's starting lineup (Spencer Dinwiddie, Caris LeVert, Joe Harris, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Tyler Zeller) combined for only 28 points on 13/37 FGs, 0/9 3s, and 2/3 FTs with 1 steal.

It will be interesting to see how much Carmelo Anthony (47 minutes tonight vs. Philly), Russell Westbrook (52 minutes), Paul George (45 minutes) and Steven Adams (51 minutes) can play tomorrow against the Knicks in Carmelo's return to MSG.

The Jets' only two injury questions are RB Matt Forte and G Brian Winters. They will be game-time decisions. All signs point to them playing. CB Mo Claiborne and RB Eli McGuire are good to go.
