Re-grading every NFL team's 2017 offseason

Here's Michael Beasley after Frank Ntilikina's 10-point, 10-assist, 7-reboud performance against Brooklyn: "Frank's an amazing player. He has to learn what pace he wants to go. But as soon as he figures it out, Frank will be an easy triple double guy. Easy triple double." Ntilikina said that he wanted to be more assertive today after having a few lackluster games recently. "It's time," the rookie said. "I know it's about time especially I have to go out there and be confident and be aggressive. I won't relax now. I'm just motivated to do more in the future." The Knicks will need more from Ntilikina and guard Trey Burke during a grueling 6-game road trip, which may define their season.

Strong performance on both ends of the floor for New York (20-24) in a win over the Nets. NYK held Brooklyn to 37 percent shooting and Kristaps Porzingis had 26 points (8-for-14) and nine rebounds and Michael Beasley added 23 points and 10 rebounds off the bench. Frank Ntilikina nearly had a triple double (10 points, 7 rebounds, 10 assists) in a game the Knicks needed desperately. The club had lost 10 of 12 coming into today.

This feels like a big half for the Knicks. A loss today in Brooklyn after losing to New Orleans on Sunday. Here's Courtney Lee on how the Knicks should process Sunday's overtime loss to New Orleans, a game the Knicks led by 19 with 14 minutes to go: "We shouldn't put it behind us. We should use it as motivation and learn from it....definitely don't forget about it just use it as motivation." .... The Knicks have hosted games on Martin Luther King Day for 30 years and are not hosting one this season, but that streak didn't end because Madison Square Garden is hosting the Grammys. The NBA decided to schedule the game in Brooklyn this season.

Jeff Hornacek added that Tim Hardaway Jr. is feeling fine physically after playing 33 minutes against New Orleans. The coach said NYK doesn't want to overload him with minutes too quickly since he's coming off of an injury.
