Mets SS Asdrubal Cabrera just got tossed from the game - in spring training. He'd had words with home plate Angel Hernandez after a pitch, then lined a single on the next pitch. But his first couple steps out of the box were spent looking back at Hernandez, who ejected Cabrera when he got to first. Here's Cabrera leaving the game - by walking across the entire diamond and out the RF corner. Just plain weird.

Jordan Montgomery sure made this Yankees rotation battle interesting today, with eight K's in 4 1/3 innings. He's yet another endgame sleeper for AL-only owners.

How cold is it at Citi Field today? It's so cold the Mets are pumping heated air under the tarp to keep the infield warm. There's an exhibition game here next Friday, just 8 days from now.

The Mets' starting lineup today vs. the Nationals is predominately made up of regulars, meaning no Tim Tebow again. Tebow, who will start his professional career at Single-A Columbia, hasn't played with the Mets since going 0-for-3 on Monday against Detroit.

What we leaned tonight is that the Kristaps Porzingis will likely be the focal point of the Knick offense for the rest of the season and that the triangle offense isn't going anywhere.

Ian Begley ESPN Staff Writer

Kristaps Porzingis just dunked on a drive past Rudy Gobert but the Jazz center got the best of Porzingis and the Knicks tonight. Gobert had 35 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks. Porzingis had 24 points and 7 rebounds.

The Knicks will fall to 27-44 after tonight's loss to Utah. They remain tied with Sacramento for the 6th worst record in the NBA, which is the only thing that really matters the rest of the way for this Knicks team.

The Knicks say that Derrick Rose is questionable to return due to a sore right ankle. ‬It initially seemed like Rose tweaked his knee, so this is probably welcome news for the soon-to-be free agent.
