It'll be interesting to see how the Jets respond to the Trump situation. Over the last two seasons, no Jets player has displayed any form of protest during the national anthem. They work for a man who works for Donald Trump -- Woody Johnson, the recently named U.S. ambassador to the United Kingdom. At 10:25 a.m., the Jets ownership hadn't commented.

A Giants team official just told Sal Paolantonio that cornerback Janoris Jenkins (ankle) "looked good" in Saturday's team walk through. The official said barring any setback in Jenkins' on-field workout this morning, Jenkins is on track to play against the Eagles.

As of last night, no fewer that 11 owners/top executives had issued statements on Donald Trump's criticism of NFL player protests. Jets ownership is not among that group. Basically, Woody Johnson works for Trump as the U.S. ambassador to the United Kingdom.

Eagles on a roll against Giants, Manning

Big Blue has performed just fine against Washington and Dallas of late, but facing Philly has been a different story. The Eagles have won 12 of the teams' 16 meetings since the start of the 2009 season, and Eli Manning has struggled in those games.
