Each loss is crucial the rest of the way for the Knicks (27-46), who are in a 3-way tie with Philadelphia and Orlando for the fourth-worst record in the league. Sacramento (28-45) fell a game 'behind' this trio with a win Sunday over the Clippers. It's highly unlikely that the Knicks catch Phoenix (22-52) for the third-worst record in the league.

With tonight's loss to San Antonio, the Knicks have tied Orlando for the NBA's fourth-worst record. Both teams have one more loss than Sacramento and Philadelphia. New York entered the weekend with a 28 percent chance of getting a top-5 pick. That's the only number worth keeping an eye on over the final 9 games.

I know he's been in foul trouble but it's a bit strange to see Kristaps Porzingis take just 6?shots thus far. San Antonio has done a nice job taking things away from Porzingis, who hasn't gotten more than 3 good looks at the basket.
