Rarity in Aroldis Chapman's contract

Chapman is only the second free-agent reliever since 1990 to get a five-year deal, ESPN Stats & Info notes. The other was B.J. Ryan, who signed a five-year, $47 million pact with the Blue Jays in Nov. 2005. Ryan made it through only 3 1/2 years of his deal before he was released.
