Carmelo Anthony, probably correctly, referred to Joakim Noah's surgery as 'season-ending.' The Knicks hope Noah can come back before the end of the year, but that seems unlikely.

It probably doesn't need an explanation, but here's Carmelo Anthony on why he threw his headband across the floor after missing an open potential game-winner: "It was all about the shot. I had a wide open shot. I made a tougher shot the other day. I should've made that shot. It was just frustration at that."

Knicks are down two with the ball and 44 seconds to play. The play seemed set up for Carmelo Anthony to get the ball on the weak side. Instead, Derrick Rose found a seam and layed the ball in, tying the score at 88-88.

Carmelo Anthony, not interested in tanking, hits a turnaround jumper on the baseline over Cory Joseph to tie the game at 82-82 with 2:37 to go. He'll have a chance to break the tie from the free-throw line momentarily.
