With the No. 22 overall pick, the Nets selected Jarrett Allen (F, Texas). Brooklyn – which would've had the No. 1 overall pick, if not for the pick swap that was part of the Kevin Garnett/Paul Pierce trade – picked up this selection from the Wizards in a trade back in February.

Jarrett Allen is 15th overall in ESPN's analytic draft model. 17% chance he will be at least a starter level player.

The Yankees' Dellin Betances just gave up a go-ahead RBI single to Albert Pujols in the seventh. Pujols drove in Cameron Maybin, who had stolen second and reached thrid on a Gary Sanchez throwing error. It is 6-5, Angels over the Yankees in the 7th.

Calipari wanted Monk on the Knicks (1:58)

League source says the Nets had their eyes on Michigan's D.J. Wilson and wanted to move up into the top 15 but didn't have enough assets to do so. The Milwaukee Bucks selected Wilson at 17.

So how will the Jets be affected if Woody Johnson heads to the United Kingdom as U.S. ambassador? Probably not much at all; it's not as if he's a day-to-day fixture at the team facility. He'd be consulted on big decisions, but his brother, Christopher Johnson, would handle the day-to-day stuff as the new chairman/CEO. He's a minority owner and passionate about the team, people tell me. I've spoken to him a couple of times. He's personable, engaging and a good listener.

This Phil Jackson comment on Ntilikina (if you think of it with the Porzingis/Melo drama in mind) was interesting: "He leads his teammates well. He follows directions. Very good at that." Jackson was discussing Ntilikina's strengths, in context of how he filled his role in France. Still, interesting.

The Jets released a statement, confirming that Christopher Johnson -- Woody Johnson's younger brother -- will become the chairman and CEO if Woody is nominated and confirmed as U.S. Ambassador to the United Kingdom.

Phil Jackson just spoke to reporters at the Knicks facility in Tarrytown, NY for nine minutes, 30 seconds. He wanted to keep the focus on Frank Ntilikina, declining answering questions about Kristaps Porzingis and Carmelo Anthony. On Derrick Rose's status Jackson simply said: "We're listening."

ESPN Stats and Information

Knicks select Frank Ntililikina. He's the 2nd player from the French League to be drafted by the Knicks, joining Frederic Weis (1999). Weis was drafted ahead of Ron Artest and is most known for being dunked on by Vince Carter. Ntilikina is the highest-drafted player from the French League.

Coley Harvey ESPN Staff Writer

Although he's addressing media at the Barclays Center tonight, Frank Ntilikina will not meet with Knicks reporters tomorrow as picks normally do. He's flying back to France late tonight as his pro team there plays in a winner-take-all championship final tomorrow.
